LEED^® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)

Some of our professional specifiers have requested environmentally sensitive "green" TimberForm & PipeLine products and have asked for our assistance in achieving LEED certification for their projects. We can help achieve LEED Credits MR 4.1 and 4.2 for Recycled Content.

 

Most steel and cast iron products are manufactured using 80% - 100% recycled metals.

 

Rather than wood, 100% post-consumer recycled plastic slats or parts can be specified for many TimberForm site furnishing and PipeLine play equipment products.

 

Plastic liners for litter containers are molded from 100% recycled raw material.

 

LEED Credit 4.2 for Alternative Transportation: Bicycle Storage is met by including CycLoops and CycLocker bicycle management products in the site plan.

 

LEED Credit EQ 4.2 for Low-Emitting Material: Paints and Coatings is met

by CASPAX-7 powder coating for metals. No solvents are contained, thus during oven curing the coating emits no (0%) V.O.C.'s (volatile organic chemicals).
